Nike 2007/08 Away Shirt - (XL)

XL | Red
Product Description:
The 2007-09 seasons were marked by Arsenal's pursuit of success under the management of Arsène Wenger. The away shirt was worn by the likes of Cesc Fàbregas, Robin van Persie, and Emmanuel Adebayor, who displayed their attacking prowess and skill while wearing this kit. The shirt showcases a horizontal stripe pattern with subtle tonal printing, highlighting several of Chapman's pioneering innovations. These innovations encompass the introduction of the white ball, rubber studs, and numbered jerseys, among others. The legendary Gunners figure also advocated for the renaming of Gillespie Road tube station to Arsenal tube station, which served as the backdrop for the promotional print advertisements. His efforts in this regard were successful in 1932. Additionally, the kit includes redcurrant shorts and white and redcurrant socks, featuring the hooped design, which was another of Chapman's contributions to the club, along with his inspiration for Arsenal's iconic red and white shirt.
